Why (plated)™ Skin Science Is a Non-Negotiable

Kasey Bennett, FNP-BC

As a nurse practitioner at Hi, Finch Cosmetic Dermatology, my approach to treating the aging patient is rooted in science, consistency, and long-term skin health—not trends or quick fixes. That’s why (plated)™ Skin Science has become a foundational product in my practice. It is not an add-on and not something I view as optional. It is a premium partner I stand behind with confidence when addressing skin aging, texture, tone, and overall skin quality.

That confidence is driven by science. (plated)™ Skin Science is supported by more than 10 clinical studies, reinforcing the importance of platelet-derived technology in supporting skin regeneration, repair, and cellular communication. These studies help guide not only why we use (plated)™, but also how we educate patients on proper usage and realistic expectations.

One of the most common situations I see is when a patient tries one bottle of (plated)™, doesn’t notice dramatic changes, and assumes the product didn’t work. When this happens, it’s rarely a product issue—it’s almost always an expectation issue.

It’s important to understand that exosome and platelet-derived technologies are not magic. They do not work overnight, and they are not designed to erase years of skin aging in a matter of weeks. Instead, (plated)™ supports the skin’s natural repair and communication processes, which take time, repetition, and consistency to produce visible, lasting improvements.

In real-world clinical use, most patients begin to see meaningful changes in skin texture, tone, resilience, and overall skin health after three to four bottles of (plated)™ Intense. One bottle alone is rarely enough to fairly assess results. Like in-office cosmetic dermatology treatments, skincare works cumulatively—each day builds on the previous one.

Consistency also means correct dosing and application. To optimize results, (plated)™ should be applied twice daily, not once. This recommendation is based on clinical studies and how the product was designed to perform. Using it once a day or sporadically does not provide the level of support needed for the skin to fully respond.

Equally important is commitment. Using (plated)™ for a short period and then switching products interrupts the process. A true evaluation requires a full commitment: three to four bottles, used twice daily, without product hopping.

While many patients do see improvements earlier—and that’s always a bonus—the real goal is long-term skin improvement, not short-term excitement.

When expectations are clear from the beginning, we avoid disappointment, build trust, and help patients achieve outcomes that are realistic and sustainable. This isn’t about promising instant transformation. It’s about respecting skin biology and committing to a science-backed process that supports healthier, stronger, more radiant skin over time.

At Hi, Finch Cosmetic Dermatology, that’s why (plated)™ Skin Science is a non-negotiable in how I approach the aging patient.
