Nashville Botox 101: What You Need to Know Before Taking the Plunge
Kayli Krasnow, FNP-CWhen it comes to considering Botox there’s loads to know. While we know there are multiple injectors throughout Nashville, discover the Hi, Finch difference. Keep reading for the full guide including the basics, benefits, and potential results.
Botox: The Basics
Botox essentially weakens or paralyzes muscles within your face to ease the appearance of aging. It can be used to both lift and smooth fines on the face without invasive procedures. You can expect results of Botox to last 3-4 months with minimal recovery time.
I’m worried about how it will look. What is the best way to start?
We start with an initial consultation where we discuss your goals and then determine how many units of botox will achieve your desired look. For many of our clients, they can receive botox at the time of their initial consultation, saving another appointment. For some of our patients that means we start with less units of botox and then increasing over a period of time. We’re here to make sure you’re at home and comfortable receiving botox in our Nashville office.
At Hi, Finch we are the personal trainers for your skin. Our expert injectors take the time to assess your facial muscles, movements, and desired areas of treatment to create your individualized treatment plan, ensuring natural, ideal results.
I have an event coming up. How far ahead do I need to get botox?
There is little to no downtime for Botox. You can resume most daily activities immediately. If you are receiving botox for the first time, we recommend getting Botox at least two weeks before your event to allow for any topical redness or bruising to subside and for the results to settle in.
